TREATMENTS

Art, science and medicine are combined in  state of the art treatments and precision-perfect expertise to uncover a better your.

Performing minimally invasive techniques which enhance and balance your features, I’m going to  release a more healthy,  younger and well-truly rested version of you.

I feel a strong passion for non invasive treatments that are capable to improve not only the skin complexion but also the overall aesthetic appearance of the face. Combining injectables and laser anti aging techniques we can achieve natural long lasting results that will show a better you.

BOTULINUM TOXIN

Botulinum toxin is a substance produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. The actual effect of botulinum toxin consists of the blockage of nerve-endings; the muscle is de-nerved and no nerve impulses can affect the area. It is practically “numb,” although over time the muscle does regain its nerve impulses. The effect of botulinum toxin is not permanent.

Botulinum toxin is an outpatient procedure that takes 5-10 minutes.

The results of the treatment appear after three to six days. The skin is visibly relaxed and the wrinkles are shallower. The effect is optimal after fourteen days, and lasts three to four months. The more frequently the treatment is repeated, the longer the effect (from six to nine months).

DERMAL FILLERS

Hyaluronic acid is used as injectable filler in aesthetic dermatology to eliminate wrinkles, strengthen skin and increase its flexibility. It supports the formation of new collagen fibers.

The result of the treatment– smooths skin and fuller lips – can be seen immediately. Although the skin may be slightly swollen directly after the treatment, the swelling disappears within one or two days. The body completely decomposes the filler within six to twelve months, at which point the effect of the treatment disappears. However, the treatment can be repeated without difficulty.

MICRONEEDLING

Medical microneedling is a modern method based on the natural, self-recovering disposition of skin. The treatment uses a special application machine with very fine microneedles that create thousands of delicate and shallow punctures in the skin. These tiny punctures then trigger a natural, self-healing reaction, which stimulates the creation of collagen and elastin. The consequent formation of small channels in the skin aides in hydration and allows nutritive substances to penetrate into deeper layers so that they are absorbed more effectively. This process of skin being filled up from the inside results in a younger look

MESOTHERAPY

Mesotherapy is an all-natural treatment that supports the formation of collagen and new cells, stretches the skin and reduces superficial wrinkles. Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that involves micro-injections of healing solutions into the middle layer of skin (so-called mesoderm) to the depth of approximately 4 mm. The healing solutions mostly contain high concentrations of vitamins, amino acids and coenzymes. These substances significantly enhance skin regeneration. If the skin is too dry or if fine wrinkles are to be smoothed, the solution is combined with hyaluronic acid, which forms one of the fundamental elements of the skin’s structure. Its application intensively hydrates and subsequently stretches and consolidates the skin’s profile.

CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peeling is a quick and effective procedure used to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin of the face, neck and lower neck. It can also be used on the skin of the back of the arms and the back. The procedure is suitable for just about anyone who is looking for a quick improvement in their skin appearance, the smoothing of wrinkles or repairing skin damaged by sun.Based on the depth of the damaged skin and also according to the chosen concentration and length of application we divide peels into three categories: light, medium-deep and deep.

The treatment is not painful and no anesthesia is required. In extreme cases, you may feel light pinching.

CO2 RESURFACING

Laser resurfacing is a method of removing the upper layer of the skin, and with it pigmentation, enlarged pores or acne scars. In contact with skin, laser radiation promotes activation of various enzymes, as well as the proliferation of connective tissue cells of fibroblasts that actively participate in the synthesis of the extracellular matrix and contribute to the formation of new collagen and elastin. Both of this proteins are needed to keep the skin smooth and firm.

REMOVAL OF MOLES/ FIBROMAS/ PAPILOMS/ ETC.

Among laser types, the carbon dioxide (CO2) laser remains an important system for the dermatological surgery and removal of   verruca vulgaris, verruca plantaris, verruca senilis, soft fibromas, condylomata acuminata, syringomas, common warts, vitiligo, leukoplakia, skin ulcers, ingrown toenails, and psoriasis vulgaris.

The procedure is usually performed under local anaethesia (cream or injected), with a minimal downtime and permanent results. Usually 1 session is needed however when multiple lessions or wide area is treated, multiple sessions are performed.

NON ABLATIVE LASER PROCEDURES

Non-ablative skin rejuvenation uses a laser to improve the appearance of wrinkles, spider veins (talengectesias), brown spots and minor scars, among others by creating heat in the skin without injuring the surface of the skin. The heat generated by the laser promotes collagen production which causes the skin to tighten and look young and healthy. Nonablative lasers often are fractionated so they deliver heat into the skin through thousands of tiny, deep columns known as microthermal treatment zones with intervening normal untreated skin.. Multiple sessions are needed in most cases.

IPL

Also referred to as flash lamp therapy, Intense Pulsed Light or IPL therapy is one technique that is now widely used in the field of dermatology. It involves the use of a broad but controlled spectrum of light to remove stretch marks, pigmentations, vascular lessions, rosacea, active acne and acne scars, as well as prevent hair regrowth, among others.

IPL is a non-invasive and non-ablative procedure, which means it doesn’t require anaesthesia or even sedation to be performed.

Thus, it’s expected that with IPL, the risks are minimal and often, the patient can go back to normal activities right after. For this reason, it is often dubbed as a lunchtime procedure.

PRP

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP), a platelet concentrate contained in a small volume of plasma, has become a promising option in the last decade to treat different diseases related to the skin due to its high concentration of growth factors. When it is of autologous origin, it decreases the probability of suffering adverse reactions and transfusion-transmitted infections, thus it is an optimal and safe therapy for the patient. PRP has been used effectively in the treatment of several dermatological conditions such as acne, alopecia, and skin ulcers but also improves the overal apparence of wrinkles and undereyes pigmentation and bags.

RADIOFREQUENCY

Radiofrequency energy goes through outer skin layer – epidermis, which is covered by protective emulsion, directly into dermis that is underneath it. By contact of radiofrequency waves with dermis the energy changes in thermal energy. Increased temperature causes disruption of collagen fibers that are gradually removed by healing processes.

The prorcess if totally pain free without downtime and the results are observed after 4-6 sessions. Every session last up to 45 minutes.

HIFU

It is a nonsurgical facial and body skin treatment employing ultrasound to lift and tone loose skin. Ultherapy specifically targets the skin and the deep tissue underneath without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. The equipment has different transducters that can penetrate different  layers of skin, which ensures that they deliver the energy to the places that most need it.

BLEPHAROPLASMA

Excess skin around the eyes and hooded eyelids are often seen as ageing and tired looking. Belpharoplasma is the aesthetic restoration of the eyelid region by eliminating excess skin from the eyelids using a non-invasive Fractional Plasma device. Results are permanent and can be immediately visible after treatment with minimal downtime and a safe alternative to other available methods.

This non-invasive treatment is performed using a topical anaesthetic gel to minimise any discomfort during the procedure. Multiple treatment sessions may be required to achieve optimal results that will be visible after a few months.

SUBSICION FOR ACNE SCARS

Subcision is a procedure used to treat acne scarring, specifically depressed acne scars. Depressed acne scars are caused when fibrotic strands pull the skin downwards, creating the superficial indentations. During treatment a small needle cuts these fibrotic strands thereby releasing the tension of the scar, allowing the skin to rise.
